Building Panels that Eat Smog from Alcoa




Acloa  EcoClean™ uses titanium Dioxide (TiO2) to create a building panel that can clean the air; the world's first.

When sun strikes the panels causes electrons to become energized and " ...  electrons transfer energy to water in the air and form free radicals ... [that can] oxidize the NOx molecules, converting them to a harmless nitrate ..."  NOx is a component of smog so this can fight smog.
