Solar Tech Evolution Acceleration is Happening Now
Solar technology evolution has been gradual over the prior decade, but expect it to accelerate going forward. Solar photovoltaics will be integrated into building products through building-integrated photovoltaics, or BIPV. Sunlight will be harvested through daylighting to offset powered lighting systems in buildings during the day-time. And, utility scale solar will begin to power large segments of the energy requirements.
