Check out this copy of "GREEN CHECKUP" available at participating NADA car dealers.  Read it to find ways you can save gas and wear on your vehicle.

Some tips are DIY such as watching your speed (every mph over 55 lowers mpg by 1%) or emptying your truck of unneeded items to getting a tune up.   Stop getting 0 mpg by excessive idling ...  

There are 10 tips  that collectively are said to be able to save approx. $1,600 for a car and $2,400 for an SUV on an nada logoannual basis based on gas at $4 / gal.
