Reduce:
* When shopping at the mall ... consider putting new purchases in the same bag as prior purchases. Do you really need another bag?
*Buy products that have little or no packaging.
Reuse:
* Consider bringing your own shopping bag ... canvas or mesh fabric bags last a L...O...N...G time.
Recycle:
* Take recyclable bags (typically those marked with a "2 - HDPE" or "4 - LDPE" to be recycled. Most grocery stores have collection bins for clean bags. Both newspaper bags and dry cleaning bags are typically recyclable and are often marked.
* Most glass used to package food is recyclable
